Wisewool 'Blanketing'
Wisewool source the purest strong wool from farms in the Gisborne region.
The raw wool is then washed to remove dirt, grease, and other impurities. We only allow natural detergents and a natural deodoriser during the cleaning process – so no impurities or harsh chemicals are introduced to the wool.
Cleaned wool is then needle-punched to mechanically interlock the natural wool fibres. This provides superior springiness, stops the wool from clumping, and eliminates 'cold spots' - ultimately delivering a longer lifespan than regular wool products.
Foam & Fibre
Science has some pretty clever solutions, where nature can't deliver. We use a 50/50 blend of polyester for softness and shredded foam for support... but encase them in a layer of pure New Zealand wool, as it lifts them to a whole new level.
At Do Not Disturb, we believe in snoozing responsibly. That's why the supportive shredded foam in the Air Support Pillow is rescued from the off-cuts of foam used in our headboards and squabs.
