Reflecting on World Sleep Day 2024: Sleep Better
On Friday the 15th of March, the world celebrated #WorldSleepDay. A day designed to promote sleep health and how important it is for our overall health and well-being.
Kind Face's World Sleep Day
As World Sleep Day approached, we wanted to do something to help our
people into better sleep. However, we quickly realised we knew nothing about
how our community sleeps, which got us curious. Through a simple
questionnaire on our Instagram, we asked the Kind Face community to rate
their sleep to better understand their quality of sleep.
The results non-surprisingly showed a stark reality, the majority of people
reported having a terrible to average night’s sleep, characterized by frequent
awakenings - an overwhelming 93%.
At the end of the questionnaire, we presented the results and gave away a $500 splurge on our Better Sleep Range. The lucky winner will be able to purchase their preferred products to help them into better sleep.
Understanding the importance of good sleep
Sleep is more than just a state of rest; it is a cornerstone of our overall health
and well-being. From bolstering our immune system to sharpening cognitive
function, the benefits of a good night's sleep are massive. Yet, in today's
fast-paced world, achieving quality sleep has become increasingly difficult for
many. Factors such as stress, technology use, and irregular sleep schedules
can all contribute to disrupted sleep patterns, leaving individuals feeling
fatigued and unrefreshed.
At the core of Kind Face, we want to help people live a better life while
creating products that are kind to the planet and our country. Through our
Better Sleep Range, we believe we can help people sleep better and live
better.
